Church Life

PRAYER MEETINGS

Our prayer meetings normally take place in the first Thursday of the month, at 10:30am (online) and 8pm (in person and online).  Through prayer we acknowledge our dependence on God, and by gathering together we encourage one another.  Do join us.

HOUSE GROUPS

We also have House Groups that meet together to study the Bible, share joys and sorrows, pray and encourage one another in the Christian life.

CHILDREN AND FAMILIES

Children are very welcome in all our services, and there's often parts directly aimed at them.  There is an area of the church with books and toys for those with young children.  There is also a room at the back of the church if little ones need somewhere to go.

We have a Sunday school before the service for primary aged children, usually on the first Sunday of the month.  We run other events from time to time for families and children.  Get in touch to find out what's happening.

CHOIR

Particularly during the L'Abri term, we have a choir who rehearse on Saturdays and then take part in our Sunday worship.  If you are interested, you would be very welcome to come along.

BOOK DISCUSSION

We often have a book discussion group running looking at a wide range of Christian books.  Recently we've read Taking God at His Word by Kevin DeYoung, Plugged In by Dan Strange, Raiding the Lost Ark by Jonty Rhodes, Gentle and lowly by Dane Ortlund and True Spirituality by Francis Schaeffer.

UNBELIEVABLE?

Informal discussions about the claims of Christianity, and the objections raised against it, open to all.

GIVING

We take a financial offering at all our services, and we also encourage giving online.  If you would like details of how to support the gospel ministry at St Peters IPC, please contact us.
